My husband and I are huge fans of Mr. Wilson. We have seen all but 2 or 3 of his plays. We both love Fences. I was fortunate enough to see Fences in Chicago at the Goodman Theater with James Earl Jones; however, my husband has not. He has been frantically searching for a video tape of the play. Does such a copy exist? Is, where could we find it.

There is no filmed version of Fences. There were plans to film the play at one time, but Wilson insisted on having a black director. The studio balked and the project was not completed. Then Mr. Wilson died. Only The Piano Lesson has been produced to date.
