Actor sees character trapped by society’s ‘Fences’Cleo House

From The Houston Chronicle: “The most “nerve-wracking night” in Cleo House Jr.’s life was starring in an August Wilson play with the legendary author in attendance.  ‘It was harrowing,’ said House, 40, recalling his performance as Boy Willie in ‘The Piano Lesson’ at Theater of the Seventh Sister in Lancaster, Pa.”

My sister has been telling for years to view Mr. Wilson’s work. I’m getting there. I look forward to viewing each and every piece of his work. Phyllis Montana-LeBlanc. Featured in Spike Lee’s “When The Levees Broke” documentary. HBO’s “Treme” Drama Series. Published Author of “Not Just The Levees Broke” Foreword by Spike Lee. Now must be the time for me to connect with his work. God Bless and what an awesome experience to have had. Thanks for sharing. PML.
